Join us to learn how you can become an Alzheimer's support group facilitator!

The Alzheimer's Assocaition's Caregiver Support Groups are designed to provide emotional, educational, and social support for caregivers through regularly scheduled meeting. They help participants develop coping methods and encourage caregivers to maintain their personal, physical, and emotional health, as well as optimally care for the person with dementia.

Support group facilitators help guide group interaction focused on acceptance, active listening, empathy, and assistance with problem solving. This training will help you learn how to facilitate a Support Group for caregivers in your workplace, facility, or center, and give you the skills to help caregivers share concerns and feelings.
