The annual Northern Virginia Food Allergy Heroes Walk is a fun walk event with family activities. Registration starts at 9:00 am. Event activities (DJ, crafts, photo booth, games, vendor tables,....) are from 9:00 am - 10:30 am. At 10:30 am, the walk ceremony begins. After the ceremony, participants will walk around the paved trails on a marked route.
Volunteers are needed for:
Set Up
Clean Up
Registration
T-shirt distribution
Manning tables
Supervising crafts & activities
Walk route signage and walk route volunteers

Up to 15 million Americans have a food allergy, which means there are 15 million reasons to get involved with efforts to fin d a cure. The FARE Walk for Food Allergy not only increases awareness of food allergy as a growing public health issue, but also raises vital funds to accelerate world-class research, create educational resources, and advance advocacy priorities.
