2011 ADA Tour de Cure
Our wonderful 2011 Tour de Cure Volunteers in Action!

Do you like to give back to the community? Do you enjoy helping others and doing good through volunteering? Are you a good leader or do you take direction well? Do you like to make an impact? If you answered YES then we need your help!

We are seeking volunteers to assist with the American Diabetes Association's 2017 Tour de Cure cycling event on Sunday, May 21, 2017 at the Talbot County Community Center in Easton, MD. This is a GREAT day filled with cycling, good music, great food, nice company and most of all, a call to action to help fight diabetes in Maryland. Roles for volunteers on the day of the event vary according to what you feel most comfortable doing but a more detailed description can be found below. Hours: 5:30 am - 4 pm (can be flexible!)

  • Helping with office administrative duties anytime between Monday-Friday (8:30 AM-5:00 PM)

  • SAG (Support And Gear) Vehicle Driver or Assistance
  • Medical Support
  • Rest Stop Volunteer
  • Road Marshall (Stationary at high traffic intersections)
  • Route Marshall

  • Traffic Control
  • Start/Finish line cheer teams
  • Active Kids’ Area
  • Lunch Tent
  • Clean-up
