Wayne Main Street is seeking a volunteers to assist with the day-to-day operations of our dynamic organization. This is a great opportunity for individuals seeking volunteer experience in the following fields: non-profit management, community development, community management/downtown revitalization, marketing, or volunteer management.
Volunteers will assist our staff and board on a wide variety of projects including event planning, website updates, and project planning & coordination. Hours are flexible, with a minimum of 8 hours a week.
Volunteers will learn communications and project management skills, MS Suite skills, ability to construct content and enhance communications, as well as the usage of web tools, and social media properties.
Volunteers will have an opportunity to gain experience in many aspects supporting all types of programs & events. He/she will also be able to work with our four standing committees, including Design, Promotions, Business Empowerment, and Organization to gain knowledge in all areas of our operations.
This is a great opportunity to enhance skills in organization, multi-tasking, communications & marketing, and non-profit operations.
Qualifications & Requirements:

▪ Reliable personal transportation
▪ Volunteer management, fundraising, or event planning experience preferred
▪ Website development & familiarity with WordPress preferred
