Social media managersare the voice of OYC on social and digital media sites like Twitter, Facebook, YouTube, Pinterest. OYC also needs support in identifying strategies to expand our presence in a meaningful way.

Skills You Must Have

  • · Copywriting skills (Creative)
  • · Visual intelligence
    • Facility with Wordpress


  • Work with Executive Director to update content and visual presence
  • SEO tagging and optimization for website content

Social Media

  • Perform regular and scheduled posts/tweets etc. across platforms based on best practices and approved by OYC
  • Create a simplistic best practices manual for used platforms
  • Create an index as to why each platform is important for a non-profit
  • Common MSI platforms include Face Book, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, Blog, Google+, YouTube, instagram.
  • Create visually stunning content for sharing

Perform analytics

  • Advise the Executive Director in establishing KPIs for OYC social media within our marketing, fundraising, and recruitment goals
  • Perform analytics across all social media platforms
