Are you a retired teacher, para-professional or educator? Do you have experience or a heart for working with special needs students? If so, Play-Place Autism and Special Needs Center would love to benefit from your passion and expertise!
Our center is a destination for CBI (Community Based Instruction) and special education field trips. We have pre-scheduled outings occurring at our facility several times a week and are seeking volunteer support from 3-4 hours at a time to help us make a difference in these children's lives. Activities and materials are planned and prepared in advance; we need assistance with facilitating these activities and making these trips a magical experience.
Dates and times for these field trips vary; please visit our link on Sign Up Genius to schedule your desired volunteer time:

You will need to attend Volunteer Training before beginning to volunteer. You can sign up for Volunteer Training from the link above and click on the tab that says "Volunteer Training". Please arrive to training 15 minutes early to complete a short volunteer application. You will also need to bring your picture identification (Driver's License, Student ID, Passport, State ID) for background check purposes.
Thank you for being a part of Play-Place!
