Support Family Promise of Albuquerque by serving on its Board of Directors. The board is particularly interested in people in the following fields: Banking, Real Estate, Contracting/Construction, Law (attorney), and someone with Marketing/fundraising experience. We are however interested in others who are enthusiastic about FPA's mission of helping children who are experiencing or recently exited homelessness in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho and their families. The board meets once a month for about 2 hours, and you will likely spend another 3-7 hours a month on committee activities.

To empower families in the Albuquerque and Rio Rancho Communities who are at risk of homelessness or experiencing homelessness, to achieve sustainable independence through a community-based response.
Description
Family Promise assists families who are at risk of homelessness, experiencing homelessness, or recently exiting homelessness to reach self- sufficiency through a community-based response. We provide a three-pronged approach to address local needs: prevention, shelter, and aftercare. FPA provides comprehensive services to help families become self-sufficient. FPA provides intensive case management and skills training needed to overcome barriers and find sustainable housing and jobs.
