Mission Statement

To prepare students for scholarship success.

Description

The Scholarship Academy was officially established as a nonprofit venture in June of 2006 by Jessica Johnson, a recipient of nearly $200,000 in scholarships. Featured in Black Enterprise magazine, The Scholarship Academy (TSA) is a comprehensive scholarship assistance program that seeks to encourage low-income and first-generation students to pursue post-secondary education by introducing them to viable scholarship options. Using our newly developed scholarship workbook, our program provides students with curriculum-based activities designed to guide them through the entire scholarship application process.
