ORGANIZATION: Boys & Girls Club of Carson

Are you interested in postively impacting the lives of youth? Join the Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson today! We provide after school programming on Monday-Friday from dismissal until 6pm. Our programs focus on: Academic Success, Healthy Lifestyles and Good Character & Citizenship. Volunteers are a great asset to our organization and allows us to recruit more youth and provide more individualized attention for our members. Join our team today!

The time commitment would be two times a week. We are very flexible with scheduling!!

We are looking for a volunteer with great attitude and excellent energy, who will aid in days where students have the most energy and have special activities to participate in.

Description

Boys & Girls Clubs of Carson (BGCC) is part of the Boys & Girls Club of America movement that provides outcome-based after-school and summer programming to youth ages 6 through 18 years old. In 2016, our Club was ranked as the fastest-growing Club for teens nationwide.

As an independent 501(c)3 non-profit organization, we are comprised of twenty-eight locations in Carson, Gardena, Watts, and South Bay of Los Angeles - 1 Clubhouse, 18 elementary schools, 7 middle schools, and 3 high schools.
