Lift Up Atlanta (www.liftupatlanta.org) is currently looking for a job readiness program director and volunteers to lead and assist with its career workshops.
If you have experience with building resumes, mock interviews, job search and other job readiness skills, you may be perfect for our career workshops. Professional experienced volunteers are very much needed.
The job readiness program director will be create curriculum, lead a team of dedicated volunteers and teach Lift Up Atlanta's career workshops.
Assistant teachers and support volunteers are needed as well.
Classes are currently taught the 2nd Saturday of each month from 10am to 12pm in Norcross, GA.

Description
Lift Up Atlanta, Inc. is a volunteer organization that provides basic care, recreational activities, hot meal programs etc. for homeless women and children. We also help feed the hungry with food drives and providing meals.
We partner with other non profit organizations to provide toys at Christmas, seasonal food baskets, furniture move-ins for the homeless, summer lunch programs for kids, back packs/school supplies for kids etc..
Our ultimate goal is provide transitional housing for homeless women and children and a resource center so that they can get all the services that they need to empower them to have a much better life.
