Seeking a reliable and detail oriented individual that is available every Thursday at noon or 1:00 for about 2 hours.
We recieve our milk order and laundry every Thursday.
Milk is delivered and it will be this volunteer's responsibility to rotate milk by date to ensure it is used in the order it was recieved to ensure freshness and eliminate waste.
Laundry is delivered on Thursday as well. This volunteer will be responsible for the storage bath linens and bedding linens. This requires attention to detail as we have beds of different sizes and all the sheets are white. They can be easily mixed up if attention is not a priority. It is necessary that proper bedding be easily identified in the linen closet for ease in preparing rooms for families quickly.
This volunteer position could require lifting 20 pounds, standing on a step stool, lifting bedding/towels over head and the ability to neatly fold linens. Linens are delivered already folded, however if items become unfolded or are not neatly stored, they will need to be refolded neatly.
it is possible that other household jobs may need a volunteers attention should time allow.
