Our annual golf tournament, held at Pelican Hill Golf Club in Newport Coast, is a place where you or your company can become active members of the SCHF family as we offer a forum to mingle with individuals of common background who share the belief that hospice is a vital and indispensable service for our community.
We are looking for an individual who has found photography to be one of their passions and would love to give back to their community. This volunteer opportunity will consist of taking pictures on a golf course of each golf foursome that comes across the photography hole. An in person interview will be conducted to look over the individuals work prior to the start date.

Description
Foundation Helper- Assisting SCHF events such as our Fundraisers, bereavement workshops, and outreach events. Direct Patient Volunteer- This is our hospice volunteer program and the opportunities are limitless when it comes to how you want to spend your time as a hospice volunteer. Share your music, watch a movie together, speak about current events, play card games together or share stories; the time spent as a hospice volunteer has a profound impact on the patient and their loved ones. Healing hearts Initiative- For volunteers who want to provide their special talent or service ( such as singing or bringing in a certified therapy animal) , SCHF creates a memorable experience by working hand in hand with the volunteer to tailor their talent/services for our patients. Angel Ambassador- Our Angel Ambassadors are our Hospice Volunteers who volunteer outside of the place of care; they deliver care packages, they help organize/coordinate our requests, and they host outings like going to a theme park or sporting event.
