Turning the Page is holding a STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, & Math) Night and we need some help to make it run smoothly! Volunteers will assist staff in running experiments and projects during our STEAM fair that help families learn how bubbles work, what colors make up black, and so much more. After our fair, we'll break into smaller workshops where volunteers will help to read books and do additional activities with the students.
Volunteers must be 18 or older, no experience is necessary, and on-site training and free dinner will be provided. Turning the Page events are held on weeknight evenings at one of our partner schools in North Lawndale. To see dates and sign up, visit tinyurl.com/TTPVolunteers. Contact Emily at elien@turningthepage.org or 773-362-8598 with questions.
