ABOUT THE ORGANIZATION:

SCORE is a non-profit national organization with over 50 years serving our communities. We offer free business advice mentoring and educational programs to small business entrepreneurs. We are a nonprofit resource partner with the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA). We have over 300 SCORE chapters across the country. Visit us at www.score.org

Volunteer Opportunities:

The Miami Chapter is transforming our educational workshop program to strengthen our partnership and services for our local small business community. We are looking for interested and energetic volunteers that would like contribute their talent and time to this exciting endeavor. The time commitment would be approximately 10-12 hours a week. We have several volunteer opportunities available.

• Program Volunteer Coordinator: Coordinates and organizes volunteers and activities to facilitate the educational workshop program.
• Content Manager: Collaborates on educational topics, reviews, evaluates and coordinates workshop materials to insure relevant content is offered to small business community.
• Location Scout: Identifies locations, space, negotiates timing, and collaborates on scheduling of the educational workshop program.
• Educational Workshop Content Presenter: Has the ability and presentation skills to expertly communicate business subject matter though our educational workshop program.
• Educational Workshop Coordinator: Attend workshops, coordinate set-up, monitor attendance, and evaluate participant’s feedback.
• Program Marketing Coordinator: Coordinates marketing media, schedules media releases, and develops and proofs media as needed.
