Our friends at Silverado Fort Worth Memory Care are providing a Dementia Caregiver Series. This series is available at no cost and provides valuable information to anyone interested in learning more about the disease. Participants may attend any of the scheduled dates below.
Continuing Education Units (CEU's) will be available to nurses and social workers.
Dates:
Monday, January 23rd from 4:30pm to 6:30pm - Topic is Behaviors 2 - 2 CEU's
Monday, January 30th from 4:30pm to 6:30pm - Topic is Caregiver Stress - 2 CEU's
Monday, February 6th from 4:30pm to 6:30pm - Topic is Caregiver Grief - 2 CEU's

Description
For more than 100 years United Way of Tarrant County has worked to improve the lives of those in the communities we serve. As a nonprofit leader, we unite companies, organizations, schools, religious institutions and city/state and local governments to address the most crucial causes to build a stronger Tarrant County. We also serve as the regional grantee for Tarrant County’s Area Agency on Aging (AAA).

- Community Health - ensuring a community where everyone can be safe and healthy, with a particular focus on underserved neighborhoods, women, children, older adults and those with disabilities

- Education and Learning - preparing the current and future workforce to contribute to their own success and to their community
