We are looking for volunteers that are 21 years of age or older who can commit to at least one year of mentoring a child ranging from 11-14 years old. Mentors reach out to mentees once a week via social media, email, text etc. and then have at least one face-to-face interaction once per month. Mentors are vital in serving as a support system and responsible role model to the youth in our community. Urban League of Rochester provides numerous opportunities to see your mentee and for mentors to get involved! We prepare you with both online and in person training as well as provide consistent support and guidance throughout your mentor relationship to ensure that everyone has an amazing experience!
