THANK YOU!

This event would not be possible without you. We appreciate your willingness to give of your time to help us raise funds to fight heart disease and stroke.

DETAILS Specific instructions to your assigned area will be reviewed upon arrival at Lone Palm on Thursday. The event requires us to adhere to a strict timeline. It may seem that excessive detail is being provided, but having the job done exactly as instructed allows all of the associated details to fall into place. There may be down times when you are not doing anything. Be patient and enjoy the short lull. Once you have completed an assignment, please report back to the Volunteer Room and await further instruction on the next task for the evening.

WHAT TO WEAR (Event Set up)

Please wear casual attire for setup. Wearing a watch is also a good idea. (Please note - if you are staying to volunteer for the evening shift from 5:30-Midnight, please bring formal attire to change into).

WHAT TO WEAR (Event)

Please wear formal attire; be dressed and ready to go upon arrival. If you don’t have formal wear, please wear black pants with a black button down shirt. Ladies, please wear a formal dress or a black cocktail dress that is appropriate for movement (e.g. bending over, carrying auction items, etc.). You will be on your feet so wear your most comfortable dress shoes. Gentlemen, please wear a dark suit and tie or dark dress pants with a black button down shirt. Wearing a watch is also a good idea. If you want to bring more comfortable clothes or shoes to change into for clean-up at the end of the evening, please do so.

LUNCH, SNACKS & DRINKS (Event Set up)

Lunch will be provided to you at 12:30pm. Snacks and drinks will be available in the volunteer room. This is strictly a non-smoking event - please do not smoke anywhere on the premises.

Dinenr, SNACKS & DRINKS (Event)

Dinner will be provided to you at 5:00 p.m. Once the event starts and guests are present, it will be difficult to take an extended break. Snacks and drinks will be available throughout the night in the volunteer room. Do not drink alcohol while volunteering to avoid any liabilities. If you consume alcohol while volunteering, you will be dismissed. This is strictly a non-smoking event - please do not smoke anywhere on the premises.

THANK YOU AGAIN!

We cannot thank you enough for your support of the American Heart Association and the Heart Ball.
