Hospice Life Care is seeking a volunteer to assist with office/administrative duties.
Duties and Responsibilities
The administrative volunteer will:
- Assist with volunteer/bereavement and outreach coordination as required
- Perform general clerical duties including photocopying, fax and mailing
- Assist with online research
- Coordinate social media events and outreach
Qualifications
- Excellent organizational, written and verbal skills
- Detail oriented and committed to meeting deadlines
- Good interpersonal skills
- Works well independently and as part of a team
- Ability to adapt to shifting priorities and manage multiple deadlines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office programs, including Outlook, Word, and Excel
Time Period
This position requires a minimum 6 month commitment for 1-2 days per week during office hours (Monday to Friday from 8:00 am to 4:30 pm). Flexible schedule for an average of 1-4 hours per week.

Description
Hospice Life Care serves patients and families throughout Hampden and Hampshire Counties. The typical hospice patient has an estimated life expectancy of six months or less and is aware of the prognosis and consents to the goals of hospice care.
Hospice care is provided by a team of professionals; the Medical Director, Hospice Director, Registered Nurses, Social Work, Home Health Aides, a Chaplain and Bereavement Coordinator, the Volunteer Coordinator and our Hospice Volunteers.
