Adult mentor "Bigs" are needed to provide caring relationships and guidance to impoverished youth in our community. In our community based program, you might check out the museum, shoot some hoops, go to the library, fix a bike--just one to two hours per week make all the difference! We encourage low cost or free activities to focus on the one to one relationship.

Studies show positive one-to-one relationships like Big Brothers and Big Sisters make kids more likely to do everything from graduate high school to helping out in their community.

Youth who have a Big Brother or Big Sister have higher aspirations, greater confidence, and improved educational achievements leading to success in life. You have the power to change the life of a child for the better, forever. The only qualification you need is caring!

*Please note that we have added guidelines to be followed during COVID-19, including virtual meetings and safe ways to connect in-person.
