We're looking for a volunteer with experience programming wordpress to help modify our website to make it more current. We recently moved our entire website from another platform to wordpress and are looking to streamline it as well as make it easier to use and find online.
The volunteer would be working directly with our director as well as with our graphic design volunteer/intern to modernize our website. So while there will be some supervision and direction there is an emphasis that this is a collaborative effort and suggested improvements will be encouraged.

Barakat is a non-profit organization in Cambridge, Massachusetts that works to improve education and health in vulnerable communities in Afghanistan, and Pakistan. Special focus is placed on reaching marginalized members of society, such as girls and women, who do not traditionally have access to quality education and healthcare. By working with local partners, Barakat ensures sustainable and long-term solutions to community needs.
