Greet Hospice Families at our Samaritan Center at Voorhees
Support the Samaritan Center at Voorhees Inpatient Center by greeting family members and visitors coming to the center and escorting as needed to patient rooms. Answer phones, provide clerical support as needed, and represent Samaritan.
The Samaritan Center is open 7 days a week. Volunteers typically work 1 or more shifts per week covering a span of 9am-8pm. Shifts are: 9a-12p, 12-3p, 3-6p, 6-8p.
No experience necessary, however strong phone and customer service skills are helpful. Complimentary training provided.
We ask that all volunteers bring the following qualities to their work at Samaritan: good communication and listening skills, a nonjudgmental attitude, reliability, flexibility, and compassion.
Volunteer Orientation: held 1 st Wednesday of every month, 11-12am or 6-7pm, at 5 Eves Dr., Marlton.
Training: Generally 4th Tuesday of each month, 10am-12pm, at 5 Eves Dr., Marlton.
Facility Orientation: Scheduled as needed
Medical: Tuberculosis screening, Rubella, Rubeola, Varicella Titers, Health Screen, Proof of Flu Vaccination
