We are always looking for hospice volunteers to help visit patients and their caregivers and loved ones near the end of life. Your service is mostly needed simply as a friend--to keep someone company or offer respite to a caregiver who needs a break.
If you're not ready to be a patient volunteer, we also need help around the office--answering phones, preparing mailings or folders, or cleaning simple medical equipment like walkers or shower chairs.
Your relevant experience is welcomed but not required. We train and prepare all volunteers to perform their volunteer duties.
Volunteers must be 16 or older and pass relevant background checks.
