Volunteers will support attendees to the conference and showcase, a quarter of which are persons with disabililties. Responsibilities include logistics support for plenary session, monitoring of break out sessions (including downloading and uploading presentations), and more generally offer assistance as needed to attendees during the sessions and the breaks.

Volunteers will have an opportunity to network with governement representatives, IT industry executives, academia and organizations of persons with disabilities, both from the US and abroad, and learn about the latest information and communication technologies for seniors and persons with disabilities, as well as the legall and regulatory frameworks in various regions of the world. 2017 will focus specifically on connected technologies: smart homes, e-health, smart cities.
