Our group needs cat loving volunteers for our catteries as a cleaner on SATURDAYS or TUESDAYS in COSTA MESA! Petco has been so generous to give us catteries where cats in each cattery live full-time while waiting for their forever homes. Our group needs volunteers who can commit to just ONE shift per week (mornings) with an approximate time commitment of 1 to 1 1/2 hour per shift. The store requires that you arrrive no later than 9 am to start. We would love to get a volunteer that can start as soon as possible!

The kennels are super easy to clean - basically scooping / replacing litter, washing food bowls, and giving the cats the chance to stretch and play while you clean. Happy cats get adopted much more quickly, and we would love your help in keeping our cats happy!

We are also looking for volunteers who would be willing to come in one or two afternoons/evenings weekly to socialize and play with cats. Someone who currently owns or has had cats in the past would be best as you would be socializing unsupervised and would need to be able to handle cats with ease. This is a great position for someone that cannot currently have cats at home but would like to love on cats weekly!
