We are a non-profit dog rescue group in the Houston, Texas, metro area. Our rescue is different in that we help good Samaritans who find lost and homeless dogs, who don't want to bring them to a shelter, to find loving, permanent homes.
We are looking for volunteers to help with dog transport, supply transport, adoption events, fundraising events, kennel visits, home visits, etc.
Please go to our website, www.hhpprescue.org to see what we're all about and to complete a Volunteer Application.
Welcome!!

Mission Statement
Houston Homeless Pet Project ("HHPP")is a core group of dedicated dog rescue volunteers who, between us, have over 50 years of experience in rescue in the Houston metro area. We are the rescue of last resort for those good Samaritans who find lost, abandoned and homeless dogs and are just trying to help. We are also the rescue of last resort for those hopeless animals that find themselves out of time at local shelters.
Description
HHPP is a 501(c)(3) all-volunteer, foster based rescue. We don't have a shelter and rely on foster homes to provide our rescues with warm, loving home environments until they can adopted by permanent families.
