For All Species Education is looking for a couple more compassionate persons to assist us with our mission. We specialize in wildlife education and outreach, teaching people in the Central Ohio about our native species. We work with the goals of fostering appreciation, supporting conservation, and stimulating curiosity.
For All Species also provides a home to over a dozen non-releasable animal ambassadors who rely on us for their nutritional, medical, psychological and habitat needs.
What you can gain by joining us:
- Get experience working with many different local organizations, departments and companies
- Delight children and adults alike , provide unique experiences to inner city youth, and improve the lives of animals
- Get practice speaking in public and teaching (if desired)
What we are seeking from volunteers:
- A couple hours of your time each week if possible, can be done at home. Timing is very flexible but some time during standard business hours would be helpful on occasion
- Willingness to make emails and phone calls to prospective program hosts, do web searches and think creatively to help spread our mission
- A desire to improve urban wildlife understanding interactions
