Fundraising Director Needed
Almost Home Dog Rescue of Ohio is looking for a dedicated volunteer to serve as our Fundraising Director. We always need fresh, new ideas and we’re looking for yours!
Responsibilities Include:
Conceptualizing, organizing/planning, and implementing events where Almost Home is the beneficiary.
Develop an annual strategy for AHDRO's Fundraising Plan.
Develop monthly reports and provide updates on fundraising plan, including attending monthly board meetings (in Columbus).
Investigate ad-hoc fundraising requests for their legitimacy and propose to Board for viable options.

To provide homeless collies and other family friendly dogs a safe haven where they will receive proper medical care, nutrition and love until an approved home is found. To reduce the number of unwanted pets by altering all dogs that are in our rehoming program. To educate the public about the importance of altering all pets and that owning a pet is a lifelong commitment
Description
We are a dog rescue group that saves homeless dogs from animal shelters, found strays and owner surrenders. Our focus is primarily collies but we may take in another family friendly breed as well. These dogs are kept in foster homes until they are vetted and adopted.
