Street Team Movement is an Orlando-based nonprofit organization whos mission is to restore hope to individuals impacted by homelessness by providing showers, laundry and remedial aid.
We are in need of a Volunteer Coordinator to welcome and facilitate our new volunteers that want to come serve with us. Duties of this coordinator will include, responding to incoming emails, scheduling volunteers accordingly, maintaining up to date contact lists, etc.
Are you a self-starter? Can you efficiently and effectively respond to emails? Are your friendly and willing to represent the Street Team Movement brand in a professional and courteous manner?
If the answers to those questions were YES, then we cannot wait to meet you! This essentially is a virtual position, however someone in the Orlando-area is preferred because the occasional face-to-face meeting will be needed.
Training on systems and processes we use will be provided (which will be face-to-face).
We would prefer someone either computer savvy or easily trainable.

A fresh change of newly washed clothes should not be taken for granted. SHOWERS The Street Team Movement’s shower program is called (Re): Fresh. The purpose of (Re): Fresh is to refresh the bodies of the homeless individuals that we are working with. REMEDIAL AID Street Team Movement’s Remedial Aid program is called (Re): Mediate.
