We are seeking dedicated coordinators to manage and engague the community in our instrument donation program. This position requires a high amount of self-starter, entrepreneurial interest with the opportunity to build a program from the ground up. Main tasks include reaching out to local and regional in-need music organizations, teachers, and students to place piano and other instrument donations in their best and most needed environment. This is a very rewarding volunteer position as you will directly impact the lives of others by bringing the gift of music into their lives!
Weekly time commitment: 10 hours minimum plus Sunday meetings at 2:30pm.
Other required skills:
Willingness to cold call and email
Strong communications skills
Background in sales a plus
Intermediate computer and spreadsheet knowledge needed.
English Fluency required.
Volunteer discounts available for lessons and practice room rentals.

Description
Founded in 2015, we are a boutique music conservatory and 501(c)(3) arts nonprofit located in Georgetown, Washington, DC. We believe that the arts are an integral part of the well-being of our community and that by promoting the arts we are improving society as a whole. We also recognize the impact the arts have on creating a better understanding and communication between various cultures. Current projects include music lessons, rehearsal space, instrument and sheet music donations, tuition grants, and free community classes. We're looking for your assistance in helping to build M4Arts into an even greater community resource!
