We are looking for a grant writer to help identify, assess and procure potential funding resources. This includes helping develop budgets for grant proposals, reviewing application guidelines and submitting funding requests in an organized and timely manner. Grants will include but not be limited to S.T.E.M. related workshops, classes, events, and afterschool programs. Compensation for secured grants is available.

Vampire Squid Labs is a non-profit organization that teaches Science, Technology, Engineering and Math (STEM) through unique art based projects by hosting after school programs, summer camps and workshops. Vampire Squid Labs aims to increase awareness in STEM by targeting students in elementary school, middle school and high school. Our approach utilizes hands-on projects and focuses on creativity and showcasing students’ projects in performances and art shows.

Our approach utilizes hands-on projects and focuses on creativity and showcasing students’ projects in performances and art shows.
Vampire Squid Labs was born from the idea that our youth, prominently in low-income areas of the city, are not exposed to any of the STEM disciplines. We believe that through our workshops we can help inspire the next generation of Engineers and Scientists.
