SHARE For Cures, a 501(c)3 nonprofit organization dedicated to empowering you to share your personal health data to advance research and save lives, is looking for a bright, energetic, and motivated communications intern to develop digital content. The intern will work with both SHARE For Cures leadership and our communications firm to develop patient-focused content for our social media channels and a nationwide digital marketing campaign. The intern will also perform online research to inform the campaign, such as identifying key influencers.
The position is virtual, 5-10 hours per week. Work will be done online and by teleconference. It is an unpaid position but we are willing to provide reference letters or provide paperwork for academic credit. Undergraduate or graduate students are encouraged to apply.
Excellent oral and written communications skills and fluency in English are required, as well as proficiency in Microsoft Word and ability to be self-motivated. Highly desired qualifications include: Interest in health communications, familiarity with technology and social media.
