We will provide a fun 12 hour training class (4 hours 3 days, schedule will be announced). On the last day, we will provide a lunch. We will also give you a bag with some supplies needed for your visits. Once trained, we will add you to our volunteer list to do home visits with patients. We are also opening flower projects, music projects and quilt making projects. You have a variety of areas of interesthe you can participate in. We cover : Roxboro, Durham, Hillsborough, Burlington, Greensboro, Winston Salem and surrounding areas. We will keep you in the area where you live. Our very treasured Volunteers will sit with patients and listen to them and be there for them.We thank you for your interest!!

Description
We provide home care in home/facility to patients who are terminal. We provide nurse care, nurses aid care, pastoral/grief support for patients and families, volunteers to sit with patients, play musical instruments for them and volunteers also make lap quilts along with flower projects for patients. The most important: the Volunteers will just sit, listen and just be there for the patient.
