Buffalo Niagara Heritage Village is seeking volunteers to assist with our Annual Maple Weekend, March 25th and 26th. This year will be a two day event and will feature a lumberjack breakfast, maple science demonstrations (tree science, leaf reading and pressing, soil testing, tree medallions, and art corner), and a new maple sugar tour. We expect a turn out of 1,000+!
Volunteer Shifts for Saturday, March 25th and 26th
Maple Breakfast Volunteer: 7:15 am - 12:00 pm (Cook Team) and 9:00 am - 1:00 pm (Serving Team)
Maple Programming Volunteer*: 9:00 am - 1:30 pm (Docent or Demonstrator) and 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm (Docent or Demonstrator)
*All Maple Programming volunteers will receive training from our Director of Education. Programming volunteers can assist with Maple Science Demonstrations or Maple Tours.
