Adopt Me Animal Rescue runs a concession stand at UW Badger Baskeyball games to raise funds for deserving dogs waiting for their forever family. The money raised goes towards necessary vetting expensives the rescue incurs while the dogs are waiting to be adopted.
These events are alot of fun and you even have a chance to catch some of the game.
No experience necessary, must be 16+. The shirt and hat are provided, you must wear black or khaki pants and close-toed shoes.
Volunteer tasks range from:
- Counting inventory before and after
- Filling sodas
- Working cash registers
- Prepping food
- Cleanup
Even if you are not able to volunteer the entire time, help is most needed until the start of the 2nd half so usually from 5-7:30pm

Mission Statement
Our mission is to provide a loving, safe, and nurturing temporary home for dogs and puppies while they find a family to call their own. We help dogs from various unfortunate circumstances including high kill shelters, other rescues, abuse/neglect situations, or simply an individual that cannot care for their pet any longer. Almost all of our dogs come from high kill shelters in North Carolina. We transport them to our dedicated team of foster homes all over Southeast Wisconsin. The rescue ensures all dogs get spayed or neutered and get all the preventative and recuperative medical care they need before going to safe and loving permanent homes.
Description
Adopt Me Animal Rescue is a 501(c)3 non-profit animal rescue providing temporary foster homes for dogs while they find loving forever homes. We are 100% foster based and all of our members are volunteers - we don't have a physical shelter open to the public.
