We are a growing hospice in need of volunteers to companion our patients. Many patients have outlived family and friends and otherwise would not have visits. Everyone has a gift that could be used to enrich the lives of others. If you like to read, visit, watch movies, scrapbook, play a mucical instrument, etc. We will find a place for you. Most vounteers visit their patient once a week for about an hour. The day, time is between you and your patient. Please email or call for a place on our team! Description
Volunteers give their time and talents to provide companionship and socialization to hospice patients and their families. Volunteers may watch TV or movies, play cards or games, assist with meal preparation or just chat about current events or days gone by.
Volunteers are also needed in our administrative office to assist with filing, mailings and other general office duties.
Volunteers receive FREE orientation and ongoing education as well as the full support of the Volunteer Coordinator and the Interdisciplinary Team.
