We are seeking an enthusiastic and knowledgable Chess player to volunteer to teach our young group of teens the game of Chess.
The volunteer will work with students interested in learning the game of chess and building strategies for the game. If long, term, the volunteer will prepare a group for the annual DYCD Chess Tournament.
The volunteer will help Riis Academy achieve their goal of preparing students for academic success using Chess as a vehicle for building critical thinking and problem solving skills.
Volunteer must have a love for chess and the desire to share with young people.
