Building homes is hard work. Help refuel our construction volunteers by providing a meal or snack for a Saturday work day. A lunch provider can donate funds for lunch, reach out to a local restaurant for donations, purchase lunch, or prepare food for 8-14 people and drop it off at our construction site for the volunteers to enjoy. Lunch providers are an integral part of the building process. We usually recommend disposable containers so there is no need to worry about reclaiming dishes.

Alexander County Habitat for Humanity is part of a global, nonprofit housing organization operating on Christian principles that seeks to put God’s love into action by building homes, communities, and hope. The Alexander County Habitat for Humanity is dedicated to eliminating substandard housing locally and worldwide through constructing, rehabilitating, and preserving homes, by advocating for fair and just housing policies, and by providing training and access to resources to help families improve their shelter conditions.
