Make a difference in the life of an adult with intellectual disabilities by being a one-on-on companion. You can decide together what you both want to do and where you want to go but the adult male at our group home is available week nights from 5-7pm or weekends. Activities can include going out for coffee, a movie, bowling, dinner or just to take a walk in the park or mall depending on weather. Mayber you want to stay in a play video games or watch a TV show together. This time together is really about getting to know each other and connecting on activities you both enjoy.
Our male lives in the Springfield area of Akron. You can visit once a week or month depending on your schedule.

Since 1961, Hattie Larlham has provided care through community homes and long term care facilities, adult day programs, and employment services.
