Stamford Academy, our alternative high school, has about 140 students. Most of the kids have been unsuccessful in their traditional high school. The staff is highly motivated and dedicated to providing the instruction, support, and attention needed to ensure the students successfully matriculate and graduate. If there ever was a program that lives the Domus vision, this is it! The principal is seeking a volunteer who says, "What do you need?" Examples of activities include: keeping the bulletin boards current, light data entry or other administrative functions, and general organizing. Once you're comfortable, there is also ample opportunity to get the know the students. If you love Domus, you'll love Stamford Academy.
