Do you enjoy helping travelers? Does organizing an office and scheduling drivers and vehicles sound inviting? Can you be counted on to make things happen in the face of travel variables? If so, you are just the person we need.
Know that you will be playing a part in helping JAARS make Bible translation and language development possible, especially in the most remote and difficult places on earth.
Responsibilities
- Maintain expense reports, invoices, cash receipts, etc. and turn them in to Accounting monthly
- Schedule trips, vehicles, and drivers
- Schedule shuttle and courier vehicles for maintenance and inspections
- Supervise drivers and their training
- Work in coordination with JAARS-hosted seminars, conferences, and training
- Handle JAARS rental vehicle bookings and maintain records
- Distribute jobs and requests among the staff
- Verify all trips prior to trip
Experience Desired

- Comfortable using a computer for email and database as an integral part of daily work
- Good multi-tasking
- Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment

Description
JAARS is a multidisciplinary team of problem-solvers committed to the belief--and the vision--that people’s lives and communities are transformed as they experience God’s Word in their own language.
We are a community of full-time missionaries, dedicated volunteers, and a few employees who work together to accomplish the Great Commission goal of providing Scripture to every people group on earth in a language and form they clearly understand. We do that by supporting Bible translation and language development partners globally, and by working with prayer and financial partners in the United States to help make a range of unique on-the-field solutions possible.
