C * A * T * S’ 15 th Annual "Victory for Victims" Walk/Run is taking place on Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Lake Balboa, at Woodley Park in Van Nuys, CA. This event serves as the sole fundraising event supporting C * A * T * S, which provides compassionate and comprehensive care to child and adult victims of sexual assault and abuse through a coordinated collaborative effort where victims can begin the healing and recovery process. Since 1997, C * A * T * S has provided a safe and supportive environment to over 14,607 children or adults affected by sexual or domestic violence.

We are in need of Race Day Volunteers to assist as Course Workers, who will help to ensure a tremendous event. All event proceeds beneift C * A * T * S. Every two minutes someone is sexually assaulted and every nine seconds a woman is assaulted or beaten in the U.S.

The Center for Assault Treatment Services (C⋅A⋅T⋅S) of Dignity Health - Northridge Hospital Medical Center is a member of the 24-hour/7-day per-week Sexual Assault Response Team (SART) program in the San Fernando and Santa Clarita Valleys that provides support for sexually and domestically abused women and children.

C⋅A⋅T⋅S’ mission is to provide compassionate, comprehensive care to victims of domestic and sexual assault and child victims of sexual abuse in a supportive and comforting environment. C⋅A⋅T⋅S treats approximately 1,000 children and adults for sexual abuse and assault as well as domestic violence each year.
