Greetings!
Priority Hospice Care is looking for an office volunteer who can assist the staff with daily work load. If you are a student or someone who would like office administrative experience, this position is for you. We have an incentive program as well. This is an ongoing commitment.
We are looking for someone to come in 2-3x a week for 3-4 hours a day.
Application Process and requirements:
-must be 21 or older
-must pass a background check
-possible medical screening (if offered to go to the field)
-required training and orientation
Incentives Include:
-Certificate of completion for Hospice Volunteer Training
-Certificate of excellence (based on performance)
-Gas card
-Food card
-Can assist with resume preparation
-Letter of recommendation

Hospice Volunteer Training is a program where we select qualified persons who can fit well with patients who have a terminal illness through several organizations. We match volunteers to Hospices where they will excel the most. We offer training and orientation, continued education for all volunteers, certificates of completion and excellence. Whether volunteers are students trying to gain experience or if you just want to give back to the community. We hope that we find individuals who can successfully achieve their goals and provide helpful assistance to Hospice organizations within the Los Angeles County.
Description
Hospice volunteers provide companionship to people living with a serious illness and help their families caregivers in a variety of ways. Hospice also rely on volunteers to help with office work, fund raising, community outreach and other operational areas.
