Audubon has openings for two people to care for our reptiles and amphibians used in public education.
Given the serious nature of the position, candidates must have a patient and positive temperament. Attention to detail, reliability and some experience with animal care is required. The role involves feeding, cleaning and enrichment.
Shifts Needed: Monday, Tuesday & Friday of each week. You will not need to fill all shifts. Through conversation with you we will create a schedule.
Please be prepared to present references.
Time: 2-4 hours per shift.
Location: Audubon Headquarters at 12 Sanderson Road in Smithfield, RI
Animals to be cared for include reptiles, amphibians and arthropods. Note that this position does NOT involve caring for birds.
