Want to learn more about other cultures?? Volunteer to share your America and your community through international exchange by hosting an international high school exchange student from any one of our 13+ countries in Europe and Asia. Students stay for 1 or 2 semesters in your home and become part of your family while they perfect their English skills and learn more about our culture.
Host Families:
- Provide basic room and board
- Transportation to/from the local high school and related activities
- welcome a student into their family with acceptance and respect
International Students:
- Attend the local high school for 1-2 semesters
- maintain good grades as they perfect their English skills
- participate in family activities and chores
I love this program and our students! As an International Exchange Coordinator, I can help guide you through the entire process of finding a student to host, applying to be a host family and supoorting your family throughout the school year.

Description
EF Foundation offers the strongest local and national support network in the industry. Our students, local coordinators, host families and schools have access to our full-time professional staff located at our Cambridge, Massachusetts headquarters.
Our staff is available 365 days a year/24 hours a day, and has overall responsibility for each exchange student while they are living in the United States.
Our trained coordinators and placement staff have extensive experience working with thousands of families and schools each year. Matching the right student with the right family is a top priority.
