Photograph CAIR-WA events across the Puget Sound and upload to online albums. Write short event reports to be published online.
Requirements
- Experience in photo journalism and photo editing
- A portfolio of past work showing taste, creativity and potential is required
- Experience in news or feature writing a strong bonus.
- A very flexible schedule including availability on weekends and evenings
- Means of transportation to travel in the Great Seattle area.

C AIR-Washington the local Washington state chapter of CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Relations) serving the neighboring Northwest. CAIR is the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy group. CAIR-Washington is a not-for-profit organization registered in Washington. Though it leverages the resources, expertise, and knowledge base of CAIR (based in Washington D.C.), it functions as an independent organization that sets its own strategy and goals.
