Do you enjoy visiting and learning from others in your community? Then becoming an Enhabit Hospice Volunteer may be for you. Many of our patients live in their own homes and are cared for during most of the day by their families/caregiver(s). Other patients might live in long term care facilities. No matter where they live, these patients can all benefit from visits from volunteers like you. Volunteers do not provide any medical or physical care during this time. Instead, they provide companionship to the patient and the invaluable gift of time to the caregiver. All education and training will be provided before you get started. A background check, two-step TB tests, and drug testing are required and paid for by Enhabit. Get started on your volunteer journey today!
