Description

Hand in Hand Child Development Center of Alvin, Inc. impacts the community daily by providing a safe, nurturing and enriching environment for each child's growth and development, so that parents or caregivers may work, attend school or job training to better their life and the lives of their children, the Center is able to provide an environment for children conducive for learning through developmentally appropriate experiences to prepare them for success in life. The child care subsidy program allows low income families to stay in the workforce, attend school or job training to enable them toward financial stability. Sponsoring events; such as parent education classes, will allow parents to obtain appropriate parenting information that will decrease the stress levels of parents and prevent measures against child neglect/maltreatment and increase parent involvement.
