Give a rescue dog a ride! Pick up one of our adoptable dogs and take them on a field trip for tons of fun. Treat them to a visit to the Lakefront, Fontainebleau State Park, pet stores, coffee houses for a puppucino, pet-friendly restaurants, and more! Highlight their positive traits by taking videos and photos of them to be posted on social media. Help socialize our rescue animals with these excursions and give them a break from our facility!

Northshore Humane Society is one of Louisiana's largest 501(c)(3) nonprofit animal welfare organizations. Since 1953, we have been serving the neglected and abandoned animals of the Northshore region. We are an independent, non-governmental rescue that offers veterinary care, fostering, adoption, and more.
