Allapatta Studios Brunch & Tour
ArtCenter/South Florida is seeking volunteers for our upcoming Alumni Studio Tour and Brunch in Allapattah. This event will take place from 1:00PM to 3PM on January 28, 2017. Volunteers will be needed an hour before and after the event.
About this event: Visitors are welcome to tour the studios of ArtCenter alumni Babette Herschberger and Kerry Phillips along with neighbor artists Christian Bernard, Isabel Brinck, Ana Carballosa, Paolo Iarussi, Lucinda Linderman, Daniela Luna, Anja Marais, Arnaldo Simon, Odalis Valdivieso, Angela Valella, and Laura Villarreal. Free parking available on-site. Note: most studios are located on the second floor accessible by stairs only.
Volunteers must be over the age of 21 and will be asked to:
-be friendly and outgoing when greeting visitors
-direct visitors to artists' studios and to parking areas
-keep artwork safe
-light bartending
-sign up visitors who do not provide an entry pass
Perks: Opportunity to meet artists, ArtCenter/South Florida Limited Edition T-shirt, and free brunch and refreshments.
