Wildfire Network is a new organization needing help with marketing and fundraising. We work with at-risk youth, training them in firefighting, forest and fire mitigation. We also work with home/landowners to educate them about wildfire risk and increasing the health of their land. We utilize our youth in training to perform some of these mitigation projects. Seeing these youth start to recognize the value of hard work and the pride that comes seeing a positive effect on the landscape is amazing and very rewarding.
We've been successful in obtaining several grants to get some projects started, but are in need of someone to help spread our message so we can continue.
We work in both the Santa Fe and East Mountain areas of New Mexico.
We have a website (which is probably due for a content upgrade and fresh pair of eyes to make it useful).

We guide wildland and prescribed fire training in a focused and safety minded manner, train and mentor youth in forest health, wildfire mitigation and safe firefighting techniques, educate K-12 students on natural fire processes within their environment and aid communities in obtaining needed assistance with wildfire risk reduction and property stewardship.
